Yucca nana
More Info
Common name:
The smallest and one of the prettiest of all Yucca native to the Great Basin desert in Utah between 1600 and 2400 m. It forms compact rosettes of narrow, bluish-green leaves around 20cm across with filiferous edges and older plants develop a short, thin trunk. It is rarely available in cultivation, I was able to source genuine seeds from a trusted seller in the US so these are the real deal. This form is separated by some as a distinct species Yucca nana, but is generally considered to botanically fit well within the variable Y. harrimaniae, Although they are totally different from the forms of harrimaniae I have grown at the nursery.
