Yucca rostrata
More Info
Common name: Beaked Yucca
One of the most stunning and desirable tree Yuccas that can be grown in the UK. It forms a large, spherical crown of blue-grayish green, narrow leaves, supported by a moderately tall, solitary trunk, which when un-trimmed leaves a in a dense skirt of dead leaves. Y.rostrata are native to northern Mexico in Chihuahua and Coahuila to southwestern Texas. They are fairly slow growing, but respond well to watering in the growing months provided the soil is free draining. I’d say this is one of the best Yuccas to start off with if you are looking to start growing Yuccas
