Trachycarpus ukhrulensis x oreophilus

Brand new hybrid using the first female Ukhrulensis to flower in the UK pollinated with pollen from the Thai Mountain Palm Trachycarpus oreophilus. One of the most exciting hybrids I’ve created. Trachycarpus ukhrulensis is marginally harder than oreophilus (in the UK anyway) so hopefully this cross will keep the hardiness of ukhrulensis and take on some of the visual traits of the stunning oreophilus.
