Trachycarpus nanus
More Info
The dwarf member of the genus native to Yunnan region of China in a few remote areas. It grows very slowly and does not form a trunk, instead it snakes along the ground forming a subterranean trunk. T.nanus is one of the rarest in the family of Trachycarpus and can be difficult to establish. It does not tend to grow well in a pot and prefers to be planted out early as it produces a very long tap root.
I’m happy to be able to offer the rare and true nanus here with no hybrid blood because of the careful hand pollination.
Plant passports are sent with all plants and are available in the UK.
