Agave x parryspina

Common name: Hybrid Parry’s Agave

This stunning natural hybrid between Agave parryi and Agave flexispina from northern Mexico it has silvery-blue leaves and large, black, terminal spines. These are growing faster than either parryi or flexispina at the nursery, and should be every bit as hardy as either parent and an exciting addition for any collection

• Hardiness: H4: hardy through most of the UK (-10 to -5) I’m sure much lower if dry

• Position/Aspect: Full sun or partial shade, free draining gritty gravelly soil. Would work well in a pot.

• Drought tolerance: Excellent

• Size: expect similar to parryi 60cm tall 90cm diameter

• Seed grown at the Kent nursery: yes
