Common name: Trecul’s Spanish Dagger

Another one of the large trunking Yuccas native to South Western Texas and Coahuila, Mexico. This yucca has large crowns of straight, stiff, robust, bluish-green leaves. It does well in the UK and will start to produce a trunk quite quickly once in the ground. It’s another yucca that probably needs planting away from where children might play….well at least until it’s up and out of the way

 

  • Hardiness  H5: hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters (-15 to -10)
  • Position/Aspect  Full sun to look its best but will tolerate partial shade.
